Dilly-dallying daddy’s film

It isn���t new for beta Shahid Kapoor to leave aside father Pankaj Kapur���s project and get into another.
A few days ago, we had reported that Shahid would complete his projects on hand and then give his heart and soul to his dad, Pankaj Kapur���s film. But Shahid is not doing anything like that. After completing his pending films, he has begun work on a new project, leaving Pankaj in the lurch.The new film that Shahid has signed, will be directed by Shirish Kunder.
Reveals a well-placed source in the industry, ���Shirish has been in talks with Shahid for quite sometime and has finalised him as the lead actor for his next film.���
A non-committal Shirish, however, says, ���I might have spoken to Shahid on a social level, but nothing is decided yet about the film. In fact, I���m still working on the script.���
Our source though, insists that Shahid has signed the film, and that it is a love story. ���The lead actor opposite Shahid is yet to be roped in and Shirish is working on a number of names. Shahid, on the other hand, is being extremely choosy about the subjects and film-makers he is working with. Recently, he declined numerous offers, and is working only on Vishal Bharadwaj���s Kaminay and Ken Ghosh���s Yahoo.���
Is putting aside Dad���s project also a part of being picky about the film-makers he wants to work with?
